There is always something that needs doing at and for the sanctuary. From Pony Care to Fundraising, whether you can be here in person or help from your home or business, Volunteer efforts are always welcome and greatly appreciated. Working with the ponies is fun too. We practice the Wilsie Way of natural horsemanship here at the farm, and all volunteers will be taught it when they come for orientation.
Some of the tasks we need help with:
PONY VOLUNTEERS (AGES 14 AND UP.) - Grooming. Cleaning Tack. Poop Patrol. Feeding. Cleaning and filling water troughs. Sweeping. Assist at Events, Pony Rides and Tours.
SANCTUARY MAINTENANCE VOLUNTEERS - Getting and putting up hay. Fence work. Minor Barn repairs. Grounds upkeep.
OUTREACH AND EDUCATION VOLUNTEERS - Help with tours, presentations, special events.
FUNDRAISING -Coordinate fundraising events. Find creative ways to raise funds. Hay is our biggest expense here. and we receive no regular support form outside sources.
