Originally from Massachusetts and now living in Rindge, NH, Karen Nelson has a Bachelor's degree from UMass/Amherst. She has been involved with horses since the age of 8 and taught basic horsemanship and riding at summer camps, Boy Scouts, and 4H.  Karen is currently owned by a Missouri Foxtrotter gelding named Henry.  Her previous experience with nonprofit organizations includes serving on the boards of community music ensembles and public and community radio stations.
