HEAL THE HEROES™

Picture
Our health care workers are suffering a trauma like no other we have seen in this generation, a hidden predator not only takes their patients lives one right after the other, but threatens their own lives and the lives of their co-workers as well.

Health care workers, nurses, and doctors are considered healers and we wrongly assume healers heal themselves. Unfortunately, there is very little non-traditional help available for them; these compassionate, dedicated medical workers have been overlooked far too long.
Now, more than ever, due to Covid-19, our healthcare heroes need our help and the Newfoundland ponies of NPCC are here to do just that, offering a unique, specially designed, life skills development program.

Heal the Heroes™* life skills development program at the Newfoundland Pony Conservancy Center, is run by a certified facilitator who is also an empathetic RN. Unfortunately, she can relate on another level as well, having lost both her father and another family member due to Covid-19.

To make this equine assisted approach even more beneficial, we offer this program in adjunct with True Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship, a Keene area non-profit who will carry on the new found insight and growth our participants have achieved at NPCC, in their therapeutic horsemanship program. f
